Hermes Agent

The reviewed helper now defaults to gpt-5.6-sol and targets an explicit Hermes profile or home. It defaults to dry run, backs up config and environment files, and validates the result. Windows is documented via WSL until a native Windows lifecycle run is completed.

Requirements

Hermes Agent v0.19.0 or a separately revalidated current version
Linux, macOS, or Windows via WSL
A dedicated Hermes profile
An API key only when applying

Install

Select your operating system and run the one-line installer. The installer verifies the helper, then shows Install, Rollback, Uninstall, Status, and Exit.

Verify

Review the dry run first. Apply only after confirming the target profile, then retain the printed backup path for rollback.

Roll back

Use the helper's rollback action and the backup path printed during apply. Rollback refuses unrelated or conflicting changes where the helper supports conflict detection.

Uninstall

Use the helper's uninstall action to remove only BobRouter-managed settings. Keep unrelated client configuration unchanged.
